To commemorate Radin Mas Primary Schools 80th Anniversary, the school organized its anniversary dinner on 25th May based on the theme “Children of the world” to provide an opportunity for the children to learn about and experience diverse cultures and traditions.
In line with their theme they had invited teams from 6 International schools to put up dance items. Four students from our school participated, they were 3 from class 4A: Aditi, Sucheta, Sumedha performed a dance item from
A. R. Rehmans collection- Vande Mataram and Akshaya from Class 8 performed a section of Bharatnatyam. It was an experience for our children. They were appreciated by the other participants, which made them feel proud that they were representing DPS International School.
We come to this world but once and during this sojourn the only thing that
matters is how we helped our fellow beings. DPSIS students are always ready
to lend a helping hand for a philanthropic cause and this spirit led them to
volunteer for the blood donation drive organized by the Khalsa Association. Our
students also collected a sum of S$ 8000 for the Tsunami victims, which was
donated to the DPS contribution to Prime Ministers Relief Fund. We once again
thank all parents for their generosity and help.
