| Prizes are awarded for academics to students as follows: |
The Scholar badge ceremony is one of the prestigious and time-tested traditions of all DPS schools whereby all meritorious students awarded scholar badges for achieving distinction in their final exam aggregate.
- Scholar Badges-
Awarding a Scholar Badge is an honoured DPS tradition. In all DPS schools, it is awarded from Class VI onwards, to students getting 80% and above in the aggregate in the Finals.
However in DPSIS to encourage our students, we had kept the cut off percentage at 75% and included class III to V also.
Now as the school is in the fourth Year , the percentage has been raised to 80%, but we continue giving Scholar Badge from Class –III onwards.
- Criteria for selection-
80% and above in aggregate with 40% in every other subject
A pass in Graded Subjects is a must to qualify for a Scholar Badge.
Silver Badge :
Will be awarded to a student who fulfills the Scholar Badge criteria for 3 consecutive years (Class VI and above)
Gold Badge : Will be awarded to a student who fulfills the Scholar Badge criteria for 6 consecutive years.
Merit Certificate Prizes-will be awarded class wise
